AgendaThe final agenda can be found here.

Bookmark and save High Ground Conference to your phone as a home page, as it includes all of the details you will need during the Conference.  Plan to reference it while you are here for what you need.

Venue: All morning and evening events take place at the Vail Church, located one mile east of the Beaver Creek entrance roundabout at 39209 U.S. Highway 6, Avon, CO 81620.  Please park on the east side of the Church parking lot (turn right upon entering the Church lot).

Meals:

Breakfasts: Wednesday through Friday start promptly at 7:00 a.m.  Please be on time.

Dinners: Catered dinners by Holy Smokes on Wednesday February 25 and Friday February 27 starting promptly at 5:45 p.m.  Again, please be on time.

Thursday February 26 dinner is on your own.  Please plan to arrive at the Church by 6:15 p.m. so that we can begin our program on time.

Make it easy on yourself and order pizza or take out with your home or condo colleagues (or load up on lunch and skip dinner!).
(If you do decide to dine out, make an (early!) reservation, and do so now. Restaurants in the Vail Valley are quite busy.)

Optional on mountain lunchesWe have the opportunity for lunches any of the three days at Beano's and Allie's Cabins, the Beaver Creek Club's on mountain private restaurants, and on Thursday at the Game Creek Club at Vail. These lunches are a highlight for many men attending High Ground and offer you the opportunity for great fellowship and special meals in a beautiful on mountain setting.

Registration is now closed.  Capacity is limited and signups close Monday February 23.  Cost is $50 per person per day at Beano's and Allies and $55 for the Game Creek Club.

Directions to the on mountain dining cabins:

- Beano's Cabin (1:00 p.m.): access via the Larkspur lift and trail.  Approximately 3/4 down the Larkspur trail, where it begins to narrow, look for a "Beano's" sign and catwalk trail on the right of the trail.

Non-skiers who reserve a seat (see Kent Dahlberg) may take the snowcat from the Beaver Creek Club (located to the right of the Centennial lift at the base) to Beano's.  Some chose to snowshoe down after lunch, so bring snowshoes if you're interested.

- Allie's Cabin (1:00 p.m.): access via the Centennial lift and then ski down to the Cinch trail on the lower part of the mountain.  Allie's is about 600 feet up from the Haymeadow Express gondola lift, to the left of the Centennial lift.  You can walk up to Allie's cabin (no snowcat service).

- Game Creek Club at Vail (1:30 p.m.): For this Thursday-only lunch at Vail, you may access the Game Creek Club via the top of Chair 2, and then enter the Game Creek Bowl on the Ouzo trail.  The Game Creek Club is about 2/3 down the trail on the right hand side.  (We have access to paid parking for 2-4 cars at the Passport Club, by Chair 6/Riva Bahn lift.  See Kent Dahlberg or Scott Slater for details.)

HousingIf you purchased housing through High Ground, you will receive an email regarding your specfiic condo and roommate assignments.  (If someone still needs to purchase Conference housing through High Ground, we have a couple of beds available. Contact us at highground@inbox.com.)

Ski, snowboard and snowshoe rentals are available at Venture Sports in Avon.  Request the generous 30% High Ground discount, courtesy of owner Mike Brumbaugh.  Schedule those before you head out!

Annual Ski Race! We have held an annual ski race on the NASTAR course to the left of the Centennial lift as you look up the mountain (skiers right, for all you former racers out there).  Depending on conditions, Burton Kloster will organize a race to take place right after Friday February 27 lunch, at 2:30 p.m. at the top of the NASTAR course.

Pack your 2025 High Ground Bandana so we can identify you on the mountain!

See you soon!
