Welcome to the High Ground Men's Bible & Ski Ministry
The High Ground Men's Bible and Ski Conference began with a 1988 weekend with twelve Christian men meeting in Beaver Creek, Colorado. In the ensuing years, this three day Conference has reached hundreds of men across the country and fuses together great fellowship, solid Bible teaching and plenty of outstanding skiing at Beaver Creek and Vail. Men leave the mountain encouraged and challenged to live out their faith in Jesus Christ more completely in their homes, communities, workplaces and churches. And they make enduring friendships through their three days on the mountain.
Join us this coming February 25-27, 2026 for our 36th annual High Ground Conference, and invite a friend or two who would enjoy the High Ground experience.
Leadership
Scott Slater is the Director of the High Ground Conference since 2024 and has been involved in leading High Ground Conferences with the previous long time leader Randy Denton since 2017. He was first invited to the Conference over 20 years ago.
Scott retired from Fidelity Investments in 2023, where he helped independent wealth management firms build and scale their enterprises. He and his wife, Karen, have two adult children and live in Minneapolis and Edwards, Colorado.
